Born in Morón de la Frontera, Seville, Elena de Morón began her relationship with flamenco from a young age. When she was only seven years old she began to study flamenco singing, winning the Young Saeta Singer Prize in the City Of Utrera Flamenco Competition at the tender age of ten. This was a huge award which really launched her career. In her hometown her natural talent and dedication to flamenco helped her to win the Young Artist Prize in the Morón Flamenco Singing contest on three occasions.

Her voice, heavy with feeling and authenticity, began to become relevant in the flamenco world. She took part in one of the most prestigious competitions in the flamenco world, the “Naranjito de Triana” competition, in which she won the Acciona Scholarship prize which allowed her to continue studying in the Cristina Heeren Flamenco Foundation during the academic year 2019-2020. During her training in this institution, Elena had the opportunity to learn from some of the great flamenco artists, such as José de la Tomasa, Esperanza Férnandez and Juan José Amador, amongst others, which deepened her knowledge and allowed her to perfect her technique.
