Born in Córdoba in 1994, Marta Gálvez began her flamenco journey at the age of 3. Her passion for dance led her to study at the Professional Dance Conservatory, where she earned her qualification in Spanish Dance in 2012. She was also awarded a scholarship to train at the prestigious Centro Andaluz de Danza, or Andalusian Dance Centre, where she extended her knowledge and honed her technique training with renowned flamenco artists.

Throughout her training, she explored various styles and techniques that enriched her artistic expression, blending the power of flamenco with the elegance of Spanish classical dance. Her on-going quest for learning and refinement has shaped her into a flamenco dancer with a unique style and commanding stage presence.

Marta Galvez: a career forged on stage

Marta Gálvez has built a successful career as a flamenco dancer, participating in numerous competitions and receiving accolades such as the 'Outstanding Dancer' award in 2015 and First Prize in the Jóvenes Flamencos competition from the Córdoba Provincial Council in 2023. Her talent and versatility have led her to perform with major companies and at prestigious festivals and at the best flamenco venues. 

Her artistry has graced many tablaos flamencos, where she has left a lasting impression with performances full of passion and dedication. More recently, she has embarked on her own creative projects, including her show “Dama de Noche”, through which she has showcased her artistic evolution and creative vision.
